Before you call.
WooCommerce or Shopify - which should we use?
Shopify if you want it to just work and are happy inside their rules; the monthly fee and transaction cuts buy you a lot of hosting and security headache you never see. WooCommerce if you already run WordPress or need control Shopify will not give you, accepting that maintenance is then genuinely your responsibility. We will make a recommendation based on your catalogue and who will be running it day to day.
Can you take over a site somebody else built?
Usually. We audit what is there first, because occasionally a site is in a state where rebuilding is cheaper than adopting it - and if that is true, we will say so rather than bill you monthly to prop it up.
Who owns the domain and the site?
You do, in every case. Registered in your name, with your billing where you prefer. We document the credentials and hand them over on request, no argument.
Do you handle email as well?
Email lives with Microsoft 365 rather than the web host, which is where it belongs. We manage both, so the DNS records that connect them stay correct.
What does a site cost?
Project work is $125/hr in 15-minute increments, so cost depends entirely on scope. A straightforward marketing site is a very different job to a store with a thousand products. We scope it properly and quote before we start.
