Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365, properly administered.
Most small businesses are paying for licences they do not use and missing security settings they should have switched on years ago. We take ownership of the tenant and make it behave.
What’s Included
What tenant management covers.
- Licence right-sizingA real audit of who has what. Most clients are over-licensed somewhere and under-licensed somewhere else.
- Email migrationMoving you from an old host, another tenant or on-premises Exchange with minimal downtime.
- Security baselineMulti-factor authentication, conditional access and sensible admin roles rather than everyone being a global admin.
- Shared mailboxes and groupsSet up correctly the first time, so nobody is paying for a full licence just to run info@.
- SharePoint and OneDriveFile structure, sharing permissions and sync that does not silently stop working.
- Day-to-day adminNew users, departures, distribution lists, mailbox delegation - the requests that pile up in a shared inbox.
Straight Talk
Where this starts and stops.
Microsoft 365 is a large product and nobody manages all of it. Here is what we take on.
We handle this
- Exchange Online, Outlook and mail flow
- SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams administration
- Entra ID accounts, MFA and conditional access
- Licence procurement, renewals and cost review
- Backup of 365 data through a third-party tool
We don’t
- Build custom Power Apps, Power Automate flows or Power BI reports
- Provide end-user training courses on Office applications
- Manage enterprise compliance frameworks such as HIPAA or CMMC certification
- Cover the cost of the Microsoft licences themselves
Questions
Before you call.
Can you move us from Google Workspace?
Yes. Mail, calendars, contacts and Drive files all migrate. We run it in stages so nobody loses a day of email, and we keep the old tenant live until you are confident.
Does Microsoft back up our data?
Not the way most people assume. Microsoft protects the platform; retaining and restoring your data past their limited retention window is your responsibility. We deploy third-party 365 backup for that reason.
Do we buy licences through you or direct?
Either. We can procure and bill them alongside your agreement, or you keep them on your own Microsoft billing and we simply administer the tenant. We do not mark licences up.
Will multi-factor authentication annoy the staff?
Configured badly, yes. Configured properly with trusted devices and sensible session lengths, most people authenticate once and forget it exists. It is the single highest-value security change you can make.
