Questions
Before you call.
Our internet is slow. Is that the network or the ISP?
Usually one specific thing, and it is worth finding out before you pay for a faster circuit. We test throughput at the edge and at the desk, which separates an ISP problem from a saturated switch, a failing cable or an access point serving too many devices.
Do we need to replace everything at once?
Rarely. We prioritise the piece causing the most pain - normally the firewall or the access points - and phase the rest as budget allows. We will tell you what can safely wait.
Can you set up a guest network?
Yes, and you should have one. Guest traffic sits on its own VLAN with no route to your servers, workstations or cameras.
What brands do you install?
We standardise on Ubiquiti for wireless and switching in most small business sites. It is reliable, the management interface is genuinely good, and we know it well enough to troubleshoot it quickly.
